Street style

I had previously posted about Street style, saying I had to begin clicking. Well it wasn't just about clicking for me but was also about getting the nerve up to go and ask/tell all these wonderfully unique people in this city if I could capture them and put them up on my blog. For me, the reason why I wanted to put it up here was because I feel connected to this city ( Brussels)  which I call home even though I am not a Belgian by birth, to show to people out there that this place has some of the most incredibly dressed people like all the  other cities which are already mapped out on the "fashion" forward list or rather the ones most of us know where fashion lives in its uniqueness. To me, it lives here as well  :-)

So, I am taking the first step at posting pictures and will have it flowing :-)

The first picture was taken at the Brussels Fashion days, Elle fashion show night ( will have a post entirely on that coming up soon!)

Fashion Week

The Fashion weeks are on, on a full swing. It's design heaven ..with every other couture line taking your breath away and then just when you think it's getting back to normal, you have been short of breath already..it's exhilarating!

As I follow some of the designers, I am going to update this blog with some of my favorites..

To begin with, I choose Alice Temperley of Temperley London's Spring 2014 collection.

For the love of Vintage...

Vintage love..I am a true Vintage lover, of clothes, accessories, of everything vintage. I am sure all the vintage lovers including myself love Vintage "stuff"- for the lack of better word because of the timelessness, for the story behind it and so on. For me it's also how it was made and also because its unique. And somewhere, somehow we all want to be unique in our own ways.

Fashion to me is an art. It's a way of expressing yourself. I love fashion because it lets me be me.

Coming back to Vintage, I love my store here in Brussels which is called Isabelle Bajart. I discovered the store almost three years ago and I can get my fill and be so supremely happy..every single time :-). You could find anything from Hermes to Escada to Thierry Mugler to even some unique brands that used to exist in the 80's and the 90's and the designs are much sort after by the younger designers in today's day and age. I can say, almost all of them are so unique. What I also like about Isabelle's store is that it doesn't compromise on quality.

So if you happen to be in Brussels and wander around and look for vintage shopping ..then drop in to Isabelle's store and I am sure you won't be disappointed.
